Under 9 Jr. Academy Programs

U9 Boys

• Pool of Additional Coaches: Parent Volunteer coaches are provided with training & curriculum guidance and supported by staff coaches.
• 2017 & 2016 Birth Year Eligible Boys.
• Teams will be formed by birth year grouping, with the expectation that one team is formed predominantly of 2016 birth years to compete in the BFA A division.
• Players will be assessed under the guidance of the pool of age group coaches for assignment to team rosters in early September.
• 7 v 7 games format.
• Where we form more than two teams, one team will register with partner club Paget FC due to BFA restrictions, but training and management of the team will remain under WFA control.
• 2 weekly training sessions + weekend BFA matches.
• Teams of selected players will be grouped into A, B, C levels for the Kappa tournament based on age group coaches' recommendations.
• Travel team option for selected players from the player pool for an overseas tournament opportunity.
• Pre-Season Assessment Weeks (Sept. 2nd-6th & 8th-13th).
• 12 Weeks Fall (Sept. 15 to Dec. 16) + 13 Weeks Spring (Jan. 5 to April 20).
• Training & match Socks will be provided in fees.
• Uniforms are additional costs based on ordering needs for the individual player.
• Additional subscription-based skills sessions are available per term. Wednesday 4:00-5:30 pm @BDA College. Registration for Term 1 will open in July.

U9 Girls

• Pool of Additional Coaches: Parent Volunteer coaches are provided with training & curriculum guidance and supported by staff coaches.
• 2017 & 2016 Birth Year Eligible Girls.
• Teams will be formed based on the depth of the player pool with balanced or ability-based selection of players to rosters.
• Players will be assessed under the guidance of the pool of age group coaches for assignment to team rosters in early September.
• 5 v 5 games format.
• 2 weekly training sessions + weekend BFA matches.
• Teams of selected players will be grouped into A, B, C levels for the Kappa tournament based on age group coaches' recommendations.
• Travel team option for selected players from the player pool for an overseas tournament opportunity.
